HEY, I’M LEESHA!

Before I launched Simply Supported, I was a stay-at-home mom for 10 years. When my son headed off to kindergarten, I realized I wanted to go back to work, but a traditional nine-to-five job wasn't going to work for our family's lifestyle. That's when I discovered virtual assisting. I took a course, dove right in, and from there, Simply Supported was born.

I quickly scaled and grew my business, taking on more clients and refining my skills with each project. What started with me managing a handful of tasks turned into something much bigger. I began bringing on more clients, then more team members, and with each step my role evolved. I went from offering basic virtual assistant support to stepping into the role of executive assistant, then into online business management, and now into operations and strategic support.

Today, Simply Supported is an agency powered by a team of eight incredible women, and together we're proud to serve clients who are ready to simplify, scale, and thrive. We're excited to keep growing and supporting more businesses along the way.

At the heart of Simply Supported, my mission has always been clear: to support women in business, especially moms. That focus has shaped both sides of my work, the clients I serve and the team members I bring on. While my business model is not exclusive to moms only, creating opportunities for women to grow, thrive, and balance work and life has always been a huge part of my heart and my "why."

I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 12 years. We're high school sweethearts and have been together for 18 years. We have a daughter who's 12, a son who's 9, and two dogs who keep our home full of energy and laughter.

Originally from Washington State, we've been soaking up the Texas sun in San Antonio for the past five years. I’m also a proud plant mom with a window nook full of thriving indoor plants.

As a family, we're a sarcastic bunch who run on humor. We love adventuring together, whether that's traveling, trying new things, or diving into a DIY project. We're outdoorsy at heart and enjoy hunting, fishing, and sightseeing whenever we can. Food is one of our love languages, and we never miss a chance to try the "shake of the month" at our favorite local burger shop.

Community is something I deeply value. I currently serve as the neighborhood social committee chair, where I plan events that bring people together. I cherish new friendships and love the moments when friends start to feel like family. I'm also very close with my mom and my sister-in-law, and we spend a lot of time together. One of my favorite hobbies with my sister-in-law is building community with moms, both online and locally. Together, we co-host a podcast called Unleashed Moms, where we share real stories, laughter, and encouragement for moms navigating everything from trying to conceive through the tween years.

In the end, my family is my anchor and my inspiration. They're the reason I'm so passionate about creating a business that allows other women to find that same balance of work, life, and supportive community. Thanks for letting me share a little piece of our journey with you!
